My 75 Greatest Players Ever

In honor of the NBA's 75th Anniversary, the league announced they will be making an updated list of the 75 Greatest Players to have ever played in the NBA. So I will also make my own list and to be fair to all generations and to give a fair and true representation to the history of the game, I will firstly be selecting 10 players from each era (50s/60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s) with the 50s and 60s sharing since there were so many less teams and talent in the early 50s especially.  * Note that just because a player is chosen for a particular decade, I will still of course be including his whole Career and have...

Who were the best 2 Players for Each Franchise? Part 1 - Western Conference

The playoffs should be on right now but instead all we got was an NBA 2K Challenge won by Devin Booker and a Horse Competition won by the the ambidextrous Mike Conley.   So all we can do is watch some old games, look at the past and try to do some fun player rankings and comparisons.  This week I am looking at who were the best 2 players to ever play for each NBA Franchise, and I will start with the Western Conference Teams. Pacific Division Los Angeles Lakers (Also Minneapolis Lakers) Kobe Bryant 20 seasons, 25 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 4.7 apg 5 Titles (7 Finals), 2 Finals MVP, 1 MVP 18 x All Star (4 MVP) 15 x All...

Who are the best NBA Players By Age?

With the whole NBA shockingly suspended, we have some time to rank and compare some different players and see which age bracket has the most talent.    Anthony Davis, Steph Curry and Joel Embiid recently celebrated birthdays, so let's take an updated look at the best players by age (as of today March 20th, 2020). 19 Years Old Zion Williamson (Born July 6th, 2000) 23.6 pts, 6.8 reb, 2.2 ast, 0.8 stl, 0.5 blk FG 59%, FT 64.5%, 3P 46.2% (0.3 3PM) PER 24.2 One of the only players in the NBA born this century, Zion is easily the best 19 year old in the world.  Averaging over 23 pts in under 30 minutes, Zion is scoring the ball at...

Top 10 Line Ups and NBA Predictions

The NBA season is back!  After a busy summer where multiple All Stars changed teams, let's take a look at the Top 10 starting / finishing lineups for the upcoming season.  Since some teams such as the LA Clippers have talented bench players (Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell) that play crunch time minutes, I will be ranking the best 5, as in the 5 that will probably finish most games.  So for the Lakers for example even though they are projected to start AD at PF with Kuzma on the bench, I would assume they would finish with a small ball lineup of Davis at the 5 and Kuz at the 4.  And since Kuzma is clearly the 3rd best...

Who Was Better Jason Kidd or Steve Nash? Where Do They Rank All Time?

Since everyone is in a giving mood for the holiday season, my latest blog will be about two of the greatest passers and most unselfish players in NBA History, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash.  Both point guards were the best of their generation and both were inducted together into the Basketball Hall of Fame this past summer but Who Was Better? These two great players will forever be connected and actually when Nash came into the league, he was Jason Kidd’s backup.  They both had strong ties to the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks, although Kidd’s best years were clearly in New Jersey when he was an MVP candidate.   The two players played the game very differently and other then...
